Wonder Woman’s feature debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was arguably one of the standouts from that film. Aside from the positive views on Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman proved to be a big surprise for fans of the character. Wonder Woman is a staple in DC’s Justice League, since the character was introduced around the same time the United States joined in WWII. Continue reading
After one of the biggest controversial superhero films that is Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC has since followed up with a fun, engaging, and energetic film. Directed by David Ayer (Fury/End of Watch), Suicide Squad tells the story of a ragtag team of villains who must work together to take down a threat who’s keen on destroying the world. The plot is rather simple and a bit cliché, but it’s certainly a must see in the theaters. Continue reading
After finally getting the chance to watch the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, I have to say it’s much better than the theatrical cut. For those of you unaware, the ultimate edition packs in an additional 30 minutes of additional footage that was cut from the movie. The extra footage fleshes out more of the characters that was cut short in the theatrical version.
David Ayer’s Suicide Squad is just around the corner and with that comes a slew of brand new looks at some of our favorite DC characters. Amanda Waller, Deadshot, and Harley Quinn have all received their very own one minute trailers. Now it is time for the Clown Prince of Crime to finally get his. The one minute trailer that can be seen below gives us the best looks at Jared Leto’s Joker yet! Continue reading
Will Arnett’s Batman will make his expected return starring in his own movie next year! After appearing in a supporting role in 2014’s The Lego Movie, Batman will be back on the big screen in Lego form. Arnett’s Batman was certainly the most likable and most talked about character from Lord and Miller’s The Lego Movie. Arnett voiced Lego Batman perfectly and had many memorable moments in the film including stealing the hyperdrive from the Millennium Falcon: Continue reading
What can’t be put to film, usually winds up in an animated cartoon. Welcome to the top 5 list of my personal favorite superhero TV show intros. This list doesn’t primarily rely on nostalgia (though I did watch a lot of these shows while growing up), but rather how effective the introduction to a show is. What catches audiences attention and draws them in to want to spend some time in front of their television and watch their favorite heroes kick some ass? Is it the catchy music? Is it the tone? Or, maybe it’s seeing their favorite heroes or heroines flash across the screen (no pun intended)? Continue reading

Let’s face it. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wasn’t the film fans wanted. This movie has to go down as one of the most divisive superhero films of all time. Some fans enjoyed it, while others absolutely hated it. Continue reading
