Captain America: Civil War is the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is the first film to kick off phase 3. Numerous clips have been released online over the past few weeks and now we have another released thanks again to Comicbook.com! You can check out this clip by clicking the video down below!
This clip appears to take place towards the beginning of the film as Steve Rogers tracks down his once WWII partner, Bucky Barnes. The scene gives us a better indication at just how strong and powerful our favorite American hero truly is. Rogers attempts to prevent Bucky from escaping by simply grabbing a hold of the helicopter, and pulling it back to the landing platform.
After successfully dismantling the copter, Rogers narrowly avoids its blades as it quickly lacerates the concrete. Its easy to see where this scene is going as we can expect some hand to hand combat between Cap and Bucky. The King of Wakanda may join in on this fight sometime during this sequence however it’s hard to tell if that takes place before or after this particular clip.
Being such a huge fan of movie soundtracks, I have to once again compliment the likes of composer Henry Jackman. His choice of music for Captain America: The Winter Soldier fit extremely well with the overall tone of the film. This small piece of music during this scene gives us a good indication that there will be a lot of similarities to The Winter Soldier. I cannot be happier knowing, that Jackman is scoring another Marvel film. The Russo brothers picked a fantastic composer to score Captain America: Civil War. In fact, one of my favorite Marvel soundtracks called “Taking a Stand” comes from Jackman and can be heard in the video below.
You can actually hear part of the score of this theme in the scene where Cap takes down a Quinjet in Captain America: The Winter Soldier:
