The ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ OFFICIAL TRAILER debuts Tomorrow! Here are 7 THINGS we hope to see:

The  Avengers: Age of Ultron  OFFICIAL trailer debuts tomorrow Jan. 12 during the College Football National Championship game!  We got our first teaser trailer for this film back in October of last year thanks to the deadly forces who work for Hydra.  The teaser trailer showed us plenty of footage to salivate over which fans are still doing since its release.  Major questions are still circulating around the internet such as, what character Andy Serkis is playing?  Why are Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver fighting the Avengers?  What role will the Vision have?  These questions will hopefully be put to rest in the next trailer.  So what SHOULD we expect to see from this first official trailer?  Here are a few things to potentially look forward to:

1.  The Avengers Fighting Ultron-Bots

The teaser trailer(s) showed us glimpses of the robots that Ultron constructed to take down the Avengers.  Now, it is time to see more of the action!  Captain America throwing his shield knocking the head off of one, Quicksilver sprinting past one and punching its lights out, and Hulk well… SMASHING a robot of course!  Any of these fight scenes would be truly awesome and worth plenty of popcorn viewing pleasure.

2.  Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch Talking

So far, we’ve had the privilege seeing Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in both the after credits scene in  Captain America: The Winter Soldier  as well as the teaser trailer.  This next trailer should offer us an idea of what their potential accents will sound like.  There has not been any official evidence suggesting that they will speak in a non-American or English accent but we won’t know for certain until we actually hear them in a trailer.  It would be great to at the very least hear them speak a few lines in the trailer just to get a feel of what their characters are all about.  This could also shed some light on what their feelings are towards the Avengers before they team up with them later in the film (which leads me to my next point)…

3.  Both Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver using their Powers

The teaser trailer and the after credits scenes showed us a flash (no relation to the DC character) of what Quicksilver can do with his, you know quickness.  There was a slow-motion scene which featured him running past and pushing a robot out of what appeared to be a train right next to Captain America.  It would be great to see more of these shots however I’d prefer to see a bit more of him fighting the Avengers.  It could explain more as to why the Avengers have to fight both of them in the first place.

As for Wanda, I have my doubts that we will see more of her ‘hex powers.’  I have a feeling they will try and conceal her more than her twin brother.  We have a basic understanding of Quicksilver’s powers and abilities, so it would be great to learn more about Scarlet Witch in this upcoming trailer.

4.  More Hulk vs the Hulkbuster please!

The most talked about and referenced scene in the entire teaser trailer is the Hulkbuster vs Hullk fighting scene.  What makes this scene interesting is that we don’t have a clear picture as to why they are skirmishing each other. Some people have speculated that Iron-Man may not be in the suit at all. Others have stated that Hulk is being controlled by the Scarlet Witch’s ‘hex powers’ thus forcing him to fight the Avengers.  While those rumors may in fact be true, you can guarantee that Marvel will NOT show nor explain that in the trailer.  However what we should expect to see is more action from that battle.

5.  A closer look at Ultron

I have to honestly say that I was completely surprised to hear James Spader’s voice as the menacing adamantium-armored Ultron in the FIRST teaser trailer for this movie.  Obviously we weren’t disappointed by this but we should certainly expect to see and hear him proclaiming more hatred towards the Avengers.  It would also be great to expand on the scene we saw in the first trailer which showed him standing by the Maximoff twins.  What could he possibly be saying to make them want to battle the Avengers?  We can only speculate thus far, but hopefully this new trailer will shed some light on his vicious plan.

6.  Altercations between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers

Notice how I called them by their ‘real names.’  Chances are, we won’t see them both physically fighting each other.  That will happen later in next year’s  Captain America: Civil War.  Right now they have bigger robots to fry.  But, we should expect to see them bickering back and forth over issues that include having robots help protect humanity.  Tony Stark will obviously learn during the film that his plan wasn’t such a good idea after all.  So expect to see more disagreements between the two as we creep closer and closer to  Civil War.

7.  The Introduction of Vision

Finally, we have come to the most anticipated character in the movie and that is the Vision!  Paul Bettany will be reprising his role in the Marvel universe this time as a synthetic robot humanoid (he first made his mark as the voice of Iron-Man’s AI friend J.A.R.V.I.S.).  Coincidence?  I think not!  Anyway, Vision has to be shown eventually to the public and now would be a great time. However, don’t expect to see him much at all. Maybe a quick glance at the end of the trailer or something similar to that.  Chances are we won’t even hear him speak (at least not until the next trailer).

Marvel and Joss Whedon have kept him hidden well and will continue to do so at least until possibly the third and final trailer for  Avengers: Age of Ultron.  What will be his role in the film?  You can check out my other article answering that question here.  Hopefully we will see him at some point, because I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting a bit restless looking at all the photos and fan art that have been thrown around the internet.  Enough of all the speculations, give us the VISION!!!
