‘Jurassic World’ to be More Like an Amusement Park

How psyched are you all about the upcoming Jurassic World movie?  Yahoo! Movies recently raised expectations by posting what director Colin Trevorrow had to say about the film’s setting:

Jurassic World  takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day,” he said. “It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs. Real ones.”

This is all what character John Hammond, played by the great Richard Attenborough, envisioned long before the events of Jurassic Park.

By the sound of it, Jurassic World  will have a look and feel similar to an amusement park, with lots of attractions including a theme park, a safari, and a zoo. It will also include hotels, restaurants, and golf courses and appears to feature a very family-friendly atmosphere.

It also looks to be much safer and better maintained than what guests experienced in Jurassic Park.  Perhaps the folks who designed the parks got it right this time? Print me out at ticket and let’s go!

The website for Jurassic World is also very interesting and worth checking out: http://www.jurassicworld.com/. There’s also a website the CEO of the park posted as well, listing jobs and internships, among other information, for the fictional Masrani Oil Industries at http://www.masraniglobal.com/index.html.

I know there’s NO WAY it will be better than the first, but I nonetheless cannot wait for next summer’s Jurassic World !  I’m especially looking forward to seeing what the producers had in mind when they were creating this park and sincerely hope they took all precautions necessary when constructing it.  I might be overly wary, though.  After all, what could possibly go wrong?
